As the world moves to doing everything online, we’re experiencing hyper-growth, and we are hiring our Head of Events & Community (m/w/d) for our office in Berlin, Germany, or as a remote position. Your mission is to evangelize the world about the problems we solve and help us to drive demand we have set ourselves the goal of bringing together large companies and startups in the insurance sector to promote their cooperation. That is why we launched the Digisurance conference in 2015. Since then, the Digisurance has become one of the leading conference in the insurance sector.



Job Description
  • Be responsible for our own Digisurance conference and its community, thereby strengthening Flexperto’s presence as a leading company in the insurance field. Your goal is to take the Digisurance conference to the next level.

  • Manage Flexperto’s participation in external events (e.g. trade shows, conferences) and Flexperto’s owned events (e.g. roadshows, VIP-events).

  • Organise highly valuable webinars to educate our audience about our solution and its benefits.

  • Take on responsibility for budget planning and costs control of the events, and be responsible for the P&L of the events.

  • Build an engaged community to increase brand awareness and client acquisition and brand loyalty. You are constantly expanding our network and seeking new marketing collaborations or referrals.

  • Build and maintain relationships with events partners, press/media as well as thought leaders.

  • Work with founders, account executives, customer success and partner manager to source events opportunities.

  • Work with marketing to develop, meet and report objectives based on lead generation, brand awareness, and engagement and integrate marketing campaigns like email and social.

  • In perspective, you build the team and ensure that every team member can take the next step professionally and personally.



Qualifications
  • You have at least five years of professional experience in event agencies and / or the event department in a high growth company and have created concepts for B2B events (> 300 participants) with the aim of lead generation, pipeline acceleration and brand awareness.

  • You are used to managing extensive projects with a tight timeline and many stakeholders.

  • You've a track record in building and or contributing to communities.

  • You have strong communication skills and can apply feedback accurately and consistently.

  • You have strong organizational, project management skills and communication skills.

  • Must be a native German speaker.
